UPCOMING EVENT:
Community Summit: "What we don't know CAN hurt us"
Every day, 2,500 teenagers use a prescription drug to get high for the first time. In Ohio, unintentional drug overdoses kill more people than car accidents. And 7 out of 10 people who abuse prescription medications get them from family or friends. Join NBC4 anchor Ellie Merritt and local experts from The Ohio State School of Pharmacy, Hilliard City Police Dept., Kroger Pharmacy, CompDrug and more to learn what each and every Hilliard citizen can do to protect our kids and loved ones from prescription drug abuse and misuse. Hosted by Youth to Youth International, Hilliard Youth & Family Commission and Hilliard City Schools, this Community Prescription Drug Summit will be held Tuesday March 20th at the Makoy Center in Old Hilliard from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm. Check back next week for a pdf version of the event flyer you can download or email to friends. For more information about the Community Summit contact Jill Smock at jsmock@youthtoyouth.net
