Abigail Niehaus

A Freshman at Darby, Abigail, has been involved with Youth Council since the 6th grade. She has helped to create a bullying program currently called "Create Peace." Also, she has done 3 PSAs, one of which was shown in the Lennox Movie Theater. Abigail is also involved in Tennis and Student Senate at Darby. She loves being involved in Hilliard Youth and Family Commision, and helping her community!

The Mission of the Hilliard Youth and Family Commission (HYFC) is to facilitate youth development by empowering youth and adults to build development assets and provide opportunities that enhance the quality of life.

The HYFC strives to produce the following outcomes:

1. Hilliard youth will have a safe and healthy environment to live and grow;

2. Hilliard youth leaders will represent other youth as advocates of community development and programs;

3. Hilliard adults will foster the 40 developmental assets within their home and community.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) initiative allows community members to safely dispose of unwanted, unused prescription drugs.  Several local partners for this initiative include Hilliard City Police Department @ Joint Service Building, 5171 Northwest Parkway, and also several Kroger Pharmacies with NBC4 including the Hilliard Kroger on Cemetery Rd.

Please join us on April 28th for this prescription drug disposal day.
